Namwon Women's Saeil Center Recruiting Trainees for 'National Funded Vocational Training'

[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Jeonbuk Namwon Women's New Work Center (Director Ji Yang-geun) announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting trainees for the 'National Funded Women's Vocational Training' until the 9th of next month.


This vocational training, supported by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is a program designed to strengthen women's employment capabilities and cultivate female professionals suited to the needs of local communities and industries. Last year, a total of five courses were offered, with 96 participants, of whom 91 (94.8%) succeeded in employment or entrepreneurship.

This year, five courses will be offered again after screening by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. The course titles are 'SNS Utilization Multi-Office Worker Training Course,' 'Handmade Lunchbox Expert Course by Korean Cuisine Chef,' 'Living Care Professional Organizer Entrepreneurship Course,' 'Furniture Upcycling Entrepreneurship Course,' and 'Senior Care Expert Course.'


Applicants must be unemployed women with a clear intention to find employment and a willingness to actively participate in training. Unemployment benefit recipients, business owners with annual sales under 80 million KRW (based on VAT standard), and those not enrolled in employment insurance are also eligible to participate.


Additionally, trainees will be selected through counseling and interview assessments to confirm their intention to seek employment.


For each course, 20 trainees will be selected. The training will be conducted either from 9 AM to 1 PM or from 1 PM to 5 PM, four hours a day, where participants will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills. They will obtain certifications and challenge themselves with employment or entrepreneurship.


Director Ji Yang-geun stated, "Through vocational training, we will do our best to provide ONE-STOP support services so that women can gain expertise, find new jobs, and maintain employment after hiring. We look forward to many applications and inquiries."
