[Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] Koscom announced on the 23rd that it has donated 50 million KRW to support the recovery of earthquake-affected areas and aid for disaster victims in Turkey and Syria.
The donation was delivered through the Community Chest of Korea. It will be used for overall emergency relief activities such as providing food, drinking water, temporary housing supplies, and heating equipment to residents of the affected areas, relief teams, and volunteer groups.
Hong Woo-sun, CEO of Koscom, expressed deep condolences for the numerous casualties and displaced persons caused by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, saying, “I hope this relief fund can contribute even a little to the recovery from the earthquake damage.”
