Gift Certificates Up to 200,000 KRW by Price Range
Emart announced on the 23rd that it will hold a 'Spring Golf Festival' event until the 12th of next month, offering exclusive discounted products and various new golf clubs at promotional prices.
Emart will provide gift certificates worth 50,000, 100,000, 150,000, and 200,000 KRW depending on the total payment amount of 500,000, 1,000,000, 1,500,000, and 2,000,000 KRW respectively when paying in full with the event card for golf clubs and golf equipment at 49 offline stores nationwide where golf shops are located. The same event will be held on SSG.com, offering SSG Money payback promotions based on purchase amounts for products delivered from stores or picked up at stores.
As a representative event product, the popular golf brand Mizuno's ST-220 series has been planned at an Emart exclusive special price. The Mizuno ST-220 driver is sold for 359,000 KRW, the wood for 219,000 KRW, and the utility club for 189,000 KRW.
New 2023 clubs and golf equipment from each brand are also planned and offered at affordable prices. The Dunlop XXIO Prime Royal Edition 5 driver is available for 1,650,000 KRW, the TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver and Ping G430 driver for 780,000 KRW, and the Callaway Paradigm driver for 880,000 KRW.
According to Emart, sales of golf equipment among the 20s and 30s age group increased by 19.2% compared to the previous year. This growth rate is high compared to the overall golf equipment sales growth of about 5%. The sales proportion of the 20s and 30s age group was about 14.2% of total golf sales in 2020, but expanded to 17.2% last year.
An Emart official said, "Demand for golf equipment is steadily increasing, especially among young customers," adding, "Ahead of the peak spring golf season, we planned this year's first Spring Golf Festival event so that customers can prepare for their rounds at reasonable prices."
