Gyeongnam National University Hosts 'Future Automotive Technology Convergence Forum Performance Exchange'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] The Future Vehicle Business Group of Gyeongnam National University announced on the 22nd that it held the '2022 Future Vehicle Technology Convergence Forum and Performance Exchange Meeting' at the Changwon Rivera Convention.

This forum and performance exchange meeting, attended by consortium company officials and students participating in the province's Future Vehicle Technology Convergence Innovation Talent Development Project, was organized under the theme of 'Continuous Strengthening of Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation and Fostering Excellent Talent' to facilitate diverse achievements and technology exchanges.

The event was divided into two parts. In the first part, Tae-wook Jeong, head of the Future Vehicle Business Group at Gyeongnam National University, presented an introduction to the project and a report on its progress.

Following this, the second part included presentations such as 'Consortium Company Introduction and Employment Strategies,' 'Awards and Case Presentations of the Autonomous Driving Software Competition,' and 'Winter Field Training Case Presentations' conducted by consortium companies.

Director Jeong stated, "Starting with the 2022 Future Vehicle Technology Convergence Forum Performance Exchange Meeting, we will do our best to nurture talent leading core future vehicle technologies and promote the continuous development of the Southeast region, a hub of the domestic automobile industry."
