CU Launches New Yonsei Cream Bread and Korea University Bread Products... "Targeting University Areas" Yonsei Milk Salty Caramel Fresh Cream Bread, Korea University 1905 Generous Ang Butter.

CU announced on the 22nd that it will launch the ‘Yonsei Milk Salty Caramel Fresh Cream Bread’ and ‘Kodae1905 Generous Red Bean Butter Bread’ on the 28th to coincide with the university semester opening season.


The Salty Caramel Fresh Cream Bread, the seventh product in the Yonsei Milk Cream Bread series, is filled with salty milk fresh cream and topped with a layer of caramel custard. Inside the chewy bread made with a special method, whole salty caramel chocolate is added to further enhance the texture and flavor.


The Kodae1905 Generous Red Bean Butter Bread uses two types of butter from Poland and the Netherlands to increase the mild and savory taste, and is filled with plenty of sweet red bean paste, allowing customers to enjoy high-quality red bean butter bread comparable to bakery specialty stores. The bread sheet, made slightly salty by adding tomato powder, is topped with Emmental cheese to enhance the salty flavor, completing a perfect balance of sweet and salty combination.


According to CU, since the first launch of Yonsei Milk Cream Bread last year, dessert sales have increased by 120.6% compared to the previous year. After the release of the Kodae1905 series at the end of the year, it recorded a growth rate of 197.3%.


A BGF Retail official said, “To mark the university semester opening season, we have prepared two new dessert products that will captivate customers’ eyes and taste buds,” adding, “We will continue to offer a variety of dessert products at reasonable prices.”
