The UK FTSE index is trading down 0.2% at 7998.66. The German DAX index is fluctuating at 15,412.35, down 0.42% from the previous trading day. The Italian FTSE MIB index is down 0.78% at 27,396.00.

The French CAC index also recorded a 0.36% decline at 7309.29. The Euro Stoxx 50 index is down 0.53% at 4248.35.
