[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Metropolitan Central Library is operating the ‘Human Library, Busan Saramchaek’ program.
This program aims to share the diverse knowledge and life experiences of ‘Busan Saramchaek’ just as one gains knowledge from books. It will be held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. from March 11 to April 1 in the 3rd-floor program room for local residents.
On March 11, Saramchaek Han Se-gyeong will talk about the process and secrets of achieving her dreams of transitioning from an elementary school teacher to a children’s book author and publishing company CEO at her mid-50s, an age she thought was too late for a new start.
On March 18, Saramchaek Yang Ji-a will introduce methods of internal and external image making and teach participants about their perceptions of their own images and directions for better image management in the future.
On March 25, Saramchaek Jeon Jeong-uk will introduce smart farms, which are currently popular in urban and rural areas, and share practical cases of smart farms and stories about the convergence 6th industry.
On April 1, Saramchaek Lee Yong-deuk, author of ‘Busan Port Story’ and director of the Busan Customs Museum, will talk about how to build one’s own life and enhance life’s value under given circumstances, along with the process of researching Busan Port.
Those who wish to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 21st through the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Integrated Reservation Portal.
