Emart will hold a pre-sale discount event for pork belly and neck meat ahead of "SamSam Day" from the 23rd to the 28th.

Emart announced on the 22nd that it will hold a pre-discount event for Samgyeopsal and Moksim ahead of ‘Samsam Day’ from the 23rd to the 28th.

In this event, antibiotic-free and animal welfare Samgyeopsal and Moksim can be purchased at the lowest prices since 2021. When paying with the event card, a 40% discount is applied, and KB Kookmin Card offers an additional 10% discount benefit.

The same maximum 50% discount promotion applies to special breeds of refrigerated Samgyeopsal and Moksim such as Eolluk Doyaji, Duroc, and Jeju Black Pig. Due to the rarity of these special breeds, the supply is limited, so they were previously sold as frozen products or only in specific regions. However, for this event, Emart has been in prior consultation with partners for 2 to 3 months and will present 35 tons of these products.

All imported frozen pork products are discounted by 20% when paid with the event card, and KB Kookmin Card offers an additional 10% discount. Side vegetables such as water parsley for Samgyeopsal wraps and button mushrooms are also sold at a 20% discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated.

The Samsam Day event will be held from the 1st to the 5th of next month, with a series of large discount events focusing on domestic fresh Samgyeopsal and Moksim. An Emart official said, “We prepared this event so customers can experience various pork products tailored to their increasingly sophisticated tastes,” adding, “We plan to offer Samgyeopsal and Moksim at high discount rates again during next week’s Samsam Day event.”
