[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The inauguration ceremony of Dr. Jang Je-guk, the 10th president of Dongseo University, was held at 9 a.m. on the 21st at Sohyang Art Hall on the 2nd floor of the New Millennium Building.
At the event, more than 400 guests including Park Dong-sun, chairman of the Dongseo Academy Foundation, National Assembly member Jang Je-won, Kim Dae-sik, president of Gyeongnam Information College, Choi Won-il, president of Busan Digital University, as well as professors and staff attended to celebrate the president’s inauguration and pledged to unite their efforts for the development of Dongseo University.
At the inauguration ceremony of the 10th president of Dongseo University, President Jang Je-guk is waving the school flag.
President Jang Je-guk said in his inaugural speech, “I feel a heavy responsibility as I am reappointed during a critical time,” and added, “I will devote everything to boldly innovate and establish Dongseo University as a steadfast university on a solid rock that will never be shaken by any difficulties.”
He continued, “To this end, based on the founding philosophy of Christian spirit, we will thoroughly implement character education to pursue differentiated education in the era of artificial intelligence and seek diversification of the education system to meet the changing demands of students and the times,” and added, “We will strive to achieve the vision of becoming the undisputed ‘Asia Number One’ in the specialized field of cultural contents at an early stage and further expand internationalization so that all members can enjoy a vibrant workplace.”
