The relief funds, collected by all council members and Secretariat staff, were delivered to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, conveying their heartfelt sympathy.
Kang Yong-beom, Vice Chairman who delivered the relief funds, said, “We extend our deepest condolences to the people of Turkey and Syria who are suffering from the unexpected earthquake, and we hope that the damage will be restored quickly and daily life will return to normal.”
The relief funds delivered on this day are planned to be used for emergency relief supplies and food support for the earthquake victims.
