Strengthening Employment Support for Career-Interrupted Women

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is recruiting trainees for the "Caregiver Qualification Acquisition Course" to promote women's vocational skills development and economic activities until the 24th.


The region-specific women's employment education (Caregiver Qualification Acquisition Course) is conducted to obtain professional certification by promoting educational projects linked to women's employment, aiming to cultivate female workforce suitable for the local community through customized training programs.

Applicants for the women's employment education must be women who have been registered residents of Yeongyang-gun for more than one year, and 14 women vulnerable to employment such as basic livelihood security recipients, single-parent families, near-poverty class, and other low-income households will be selected first.


Additionally, the training course will begin on the 13th of next month, followed by a practical training phase after 4 weeks of education.


Governor Oh Do-chang said, "This training is expected to contribute to promoting economic activities by providing reemployment opportunities for women with career interruptions," and added, "We will continue to make great efforts to create opportunities to activate women's employment."
