6th Term 'International Student Integrated Supporters' Launch

Support for Entry, Settlement, Academic Exchange, and Events

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dong-A University’s foreign student supporters held an inauguration ceremony and began their activities.

The Office of External and International Affairs at Dong-A University (Director Park Hyun-tae) announced on the 21st that the 6th term of ‘DAILY (Foreign Student Integrated Supporters)’ was inaugurated to enhance students’ global competencies.

Started in 2018, ‘DAILY’ stands for ‘Dong-A I Love You’ and is responsible for supporting foreign students’ arrival and settlement, cultural experiences, academic and exchange support, and various event assistance.

The 6th term DAILY, consisting of 18 members including 14 Korean students and 4 foreign students, plans to design and operate programs that enable mutual exchange between Korean students and foreign students, as well as conduct SNS promotions.

Park Kyung-eun (Department of Chinese Studies, Year 1), who serves as the leader of the 6th term, said, “All DAILY members will unite, work passionately, and strive to communicate smoothly.”

Director Park said, “Dong-A University has been providing unified student services for foreign students,” and added, “I hope the DAILY participants develop their capabilities to grow into global talents through this activity.”
