Kangwon Land, Recruiting 4th Batch of In-House Ventures for New Business Discovery

Up to 100 Million KRW Business Support Fund for Selected Teams

Gangwon Land announced on the 21st that it is openly recruiting the 4th internal venture teams to discover new businesses.

Teams selected for the internal venture will receive up to 100 million KRW in business support funds, startup education, and mentoring from external venture experts. Selected employees will be assigned to separate organizations to focus on business development.

Since 2019, Gangwon Land has been participating in venture and startup fostering and win-win cooperation policies, nurturing and operating four internal venture teams annually through employee idea contests to continuously discover new growth engines.

So far, 'Apple Chain,' which provides landscaping consulting services, has successfully spun off independently, and 'Woodlism,' which handles woodworking-related tasks, is scheduled to spin off independently in March. The 'Jawon Upcycle' team, responsible for eco-friendly food waste treatment using insects, is conducting business within the company. The 'Smart Green Solution' team, developing a drone-based pest control system, is also preparing for internal commercialization in March.
