Yujin Group Donates 200 Million KRW for Relief Efforts in Turkey and Syria

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Eugene Group announced on the 21st that it will donate 200 million KRW through the Korean Red Cross to support relief and recovery activities in Turkey and Syria, which suffered earthquake damage.


The donation campaign involved major affiliates of Eugene Group, including Eugene Corporation, Eugene Investment & Securities, Dongyang, and Pureunsol Golf Club. The funds donated by Eugene Group will be used for on-site restoration and reconstruction projects in the earthquake-affected areas, as well as to provide daily necessities and relief supplies to disaster victims.


A Eugene Group official stated, "As South Korea and the international community are paying great attention and making efforts to support, we hope that normal life can be restored as soon as possible."


Meanwhile, Eugene Group has been continuing its social contribution activities by holding an annual "Donation Opening Ceremony" to start the new year with donations since 2016. This year as well, it donated cash and goods worth 300 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea through the Donation Opening Ceremony, bringing the cumulative donation amount through this event to approximately 1.9 billion KRW.
