Ediya Coffee announced on the 21st that its decaffeinated espresso beverage, launched on the 4th of last month, has surpassed cumulative sales of 120,000 cups.
Ediya Coffee's decaffeinated beans have over 90% of the caffeine removed, making them a product that customers sensitive to caffeine or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding can enjoy without much concern. It is available for all beverages made with espresso shots, including Americano and Caffe Latte, with an additional charge of 500 won on existing drinks.
Following the launch of the decaffeinated espresso in addition to the existing decaffeinated cold brew, total sales of Ediya Coffee's decaffeinated beverages increased by approximately 46%, and 62% of all decaffeinated beverage orders were placed after 2 PM. Ediya Coffee analyzed that expanding customer choices in line with the trend of more customers wanting to enjoy coffee without caffeine concerns late in the day was effective.
Ediya Coffee's decaffeinated espresso is available at some franchise stores and plans to expand the number of stores carrying it within the year. Stores offering the decaffeinated espresso can be checked on the Ediya Coffee website.
