SL Seobong Foundation Joins Daegu Sharing Prestigious Companies... Donates 2 Billion KRW

It is the first Nanum Myeongmun Company in Daegu this year and qualifies as a Gold member company donating more than 500 million KRW.

SL Seobong Foundation was established in December 2005 with a private donation of 30 billion KRW from Lee Chung-gon, chairman of SL Co., Ltd., and has carried out sharing activities in the local community such as donations for neighborly love, culture, arts, and sports under the slogan "Love, Dream, Future, Sharing." In particular, it has established itself as a representative sharing company in the region by donating 1 billion KRW each in 2021 and 2022 to support the region that endured difficult times due to COVID-19.

Upon joining the Nanum Myeongmun Company, SL Seobong Foundation conveyed the message, "We constantly contemplate what we should do as a local company during difficult times," and "As a representative local company, we will continue our efforts to work together with the local community."

The Nanum Myeongmun Company is a corporate donation program created by the Community Chest of Korea to discover and promote companies fulfilling social responsibility. Companies that have donated more than 100 million KRW or have pledged to donate more than 100 million KRW within three years can join.

Regular members are corporate donors whose cumulative donations, excluding in-kind contributions, exceed 100 million KRW. Depending on the donation amount, membership qualifications are granted as Green for 100 million KRW or more, Silver for 300 million KRW or more, and Gold for 500 million KRW or more.
