Since various flammable and explosive materials exist at construction sites, even a small spark can cause a large fire.

The fire station stated that construction site safety rules include ▲assigning a site safety manager ▲installing temporary firefighting facilities that meet construction site standards when handling welding and sparks ▲removing flammable materials within 10 meters around the work area ▲notifying the safety manager before welding work ▲placing fire extinguishers within 5 meters of the workers, and these safety rules must be strictly followed.

A fire station official said, “Due to the nature of construction sites with many flammable materials, to prevent fires and safety accidents, please thoroughly comply with safety rules such as removing surrounding flammable materials in advance and checking whether any sparks remain around after work to ensure a safe construction site.”
