[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] BridgeTec is showing strong performance. As artificial intelligence (AI) technology advances, the importance of voice recognition is growing day by day. It appears that the government's announcement of the 'National AI Normalization Promotion Plan' to solve public livelihood issues using AI services, scheduled for June, is influencing the stock price.


As of 10:51 AM on the 20th, BridgeTec is trading at 8,470 KRW, up 18.46% from the previous trading day.


Since the beginning of this year, BridgeTec's stock price has risen, bringing its market capitalization close to 100 billion KRW. With increasing interest in AI technology, expectations for the solutions BridgeTec holds are also growing.


The government plans to announce more than 30 major measures for 15 new growth projects within this year, including digital daily life normalization, strategic industry support, and K-Culture fusion tourism. Institutional support measures for the development of a Korean version of ChatGPT (conversational AI) will also be prepared. They will push for amendments to the Copyright Act to allow the use of copyrighted works for data analysis in developing ultra-large AI, and support the use of ultra-large AI models by small and medium enterprises and universities. The development of medical AI solutions will also be expanded, centered on private consortia.


BridgeTec, a software development specialist company, develops and supplies software related to AI call centers, voice recognition, speaker authentication, and IP-based wired and wireless (intelligent network services, wireless mobile communication) multimedia services. Using its products, it builds infrastructure and leases it to corporate clients, charging usage fees during the rental period in a cloud environment software rental service business. The call center business builds and maintains call center infrastructure requested by clients in finance, telecommunications, public institutions, and corporate customers using products developed with proprietary technology. The approximately 20 products that make up the call center are uniquely secured with proprietary technology in Korea.


The company explained that since the launch of smart devices, voice recognition has attracted much attention as a touchless interface. BridgeTec provides ▲ voice recognition-based interactive automatic response systems (ARS / IVR) for call center solutions ▲ AI services that understand users' spoken words and provide the most appropriate answers ▲ dictation technology and text analysis technology that convert recorded files, call contents, and real-time speech into text ▲ speaker authentication that verifies identity by voice.


AI call centers' service quality depends on the performance of the trained AI engine, and convenience can be enhanced through continuous learning and monitoring by analyzing databases accumulated by industry domain and user usage patterns.

It incorporates AI technologies such as speech recognition (STT), natural language understanding (NLU), speech synthesis (TTS), and machine learning (ML/DL).
