Auction announced on the 20th that it will expand the promotion 'Extreme Special Price,' which dedicates the entire site’s special exhibitions and special deal products for one day to a single brand’s products. The frequency has increased from once a month to once a week, and the benefits have also been enhanced.
Launched in October last year, Auction's Extreme Special Price is an event that fills all special exhibition corners and time deal products with partnered brand products for 24 hours, offering powerful benefits. It is the first format of its kind attempted by an open market.
During the LG Household & Health Care edition held in October last year, sales increased by about 50 times compared to the average daily transaction amount. One out of every four customers who purchased on Auction that day bought LG Household & Health Care products. On the day the Samsung edition was held, about 30% of Auction’s total daily transaction amount came from the single Samsung Electronics brand. In the case of Samsung Electronics’ official sellers on Auction that day, they achieved one month’s worth of sales in just one day.
Auction will expand the Extreme Special Price from once a month to once a week. On the 20th, CJ CheilJedang will participate, and on the 27th, LG Electronics will join the event.
On the 20th’s Extreme Special Price 'CJ Day,' CJ’s popular food and health products will be fully showcased. Brands such as Bibigo, Hetbahn, Spam, Gourmet, and Baeksul will offer dumplings, instant rice, cooking oil, and more at up to 50% discount. When purchasing CJ products, a 20% discount coupon up to 10,000 KRW will be provided, along with an additional 20% overlapping coupon that can be used together with the coupon. Every Auction customer will receive 10 coupons each.
A prize drawing event will also be held. Among customers who purchase Baeksul brand products, three winners will be selected by lottery to receive a 'Philips Air Fryer' worth approximately 400,000 KRW.
