Sanghyun Park and Sangmoon Bae "Tied 8th"... Ogle Tree Victory

Sanghyun Park entered the 'Top 10' in the Asian Tour.


On the 19th, Park finished tied for 8th place (2-over 290) by shooting a 5-under 67 in the final 4th round of the International Series Qatar (total prize money $2.5 million) held at Qatar Doha Golf Club (par 72, 7,437 yards). This is his best performance this year following 18th place at the Saudi International on the 5th and 52nd place at the International Series Oman last week.

Park showcased perfect play with five birdies and no bogeys. He started fresh with a birdie on the first hole, the 10th hole (par 5), and added birdies on the 12th hole (par 4) and the 18th hole (par 5). In the back nine, he added two more birdies on the 1st and 9th holes (both par 5).


Andy Ogletree (USA) surged with a 6-under round to claim a commanding 3-shot victory (7-under 281). This is his second Asian Tour win since the International Series Egypt last November, with a winner's prize of $360,000 (approximately 460 million KRW). Ogletree won the 2019 US Amateur Championship and participated in the inaugural LIV Golf Series event last June.


For Korea, Sangmoon Bae shot 3-under to join the tied 8th place group. Kyungjun Moon finished tied for 13th (3-over 291), Bi-o Kim and Mingyu Cho tied for 26th (5-over 293), and Seungtaek Lee and Mingyu Kim ended the tournament tied for 35th (6-over 294).
