Total Area 330㎡, Single-Story Building with Shared Workshop and Cold Storage Facilities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Chunsu Kim] Hampyeong County held a completion ceremony for the eco-friendly fruit and vegetable specialized complex and officially launched the operation of the eco-friendly logistics center.
According to the county on the 17th, the completion ceremony for the fruit and vegetable specialized complex, hosted and organized by Hansalim Hampyeong Cheonji Community, was held at the Dong Hampyeong Industrial Complex the day before.
About 200 people attended the completion ceremony, including Lee Sang-ik, Hampyeong County Governor, Yoon Aeng-rang, Chairman of the County Council, Kang Kyung-ja, Gwangju Consumer Representative, and Han Hyun-mi, President of the Jeonnam Producers Association.

The county was selected for the Jeonnam Province-led 'Eco-friendly Fruit and Vegetable Specialized Complex Development Project' and invested 500 million KRW to establish a logistics center to expand the production and distribution base of eco-friendly agricultural products.
The 'Eco-friendly Fruit and Vegetable Specialized Complex' was built on a total area of 330㎡ (shared workspace 270㎡, cold storage facility 60㎡) within the Dong Hampyeong Industrial Complex, consisting of one above-ground floor.
It is expected to greatly contribute to increasing local farmers' income by improving agricultural product quality and productivity through facility modernization.
Governor Lee Sang-ik said, "I hope the fruit and vegetable specialized complex will develop into a regional logistics center covering the Jeolla area," and added, "The county administration will also do its best to secure competitiveness in eco-friendly agriculture."
Kim Hee-seok, representative of Hansalim Hampyeong Cheonji Community, stated, "Starting with the completion of this logistics center, we will continuously expand processing facilities that will increase the added value of agricultural products."
Meanwhile, Jeonnam Province is promoting the 'Eco-friendly Fruit and Vegetable Specialized Complex Development Project' to support production and distribution facilities for eco-friendly vegetables and fruits, aiming to expand the production and distribution base of fruit and vegetable items that are difficult to cultivate eco-friendly.
