Hwasun-gun Promotes Private Sector Electric Vehicle Distribution Project

60 Electric Passenger Cars and 60 Electric Cargo Trucks Distributed to the Private Sector

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it will promote a private electric vehicle distribution project to reduce fine dust and improve air quality.

The distribution volume is 60 electric passenger cars and 60 electric cargo vehicles, and applications will be accepted until the budget is exhausted.

Eligibility for application includes residents who have continuously resided in Hwasun-gun for more than 3 months as of the application date, and corporations with business sites located in Hwasun-gun.

Purchase subsidies will be provided differently depending on the vehicle type, with up to 14.3 million KRW per electric passenger car and up to 23.72 million KRW per electric cargo vehicle planned to be supported.

Residents wishing to receive subsidy support should consult with the vehicle manufacturer or dealer, complete the application form, and submit it to the manufacturer or dealer.
