Gyeongnam Bank Donates 'Saryangdo Forest Trail Guideboard and City Flower Board' to Tongyeong City

From Saryang Bridge to the Observatory

Evenly installed over approximately 0.42 km section

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] BNK Gyeongnam Bank is practicing local love by donating signboards and poetry boards following the publication of a local culture magazine.


On the 16th, BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated the 'Saryangdo Forest Trail Signboard and Poetry Board' to Tongyeong City, Gyeongnam Province.

The Saryangdo Forest Trail signboard and poetry board are worth approximately 23 million KRW and consist of one Saryangdo forest trail map and nine poetry boards created by three poets from Saryangdo.


The poetry boards feature ▲ Poet Park Jae-du's works: Magnolia, Seaside Village Scenery, Passing Through the Dadohae ▲ Poet Cha Han-su's works: Shadow, Hot Moon, Wooden Fish (Mok-eo) ▲ Poet Cha Young-han's works: Suddenly, Letter Written by Sunlight, Afternoon of Body and Clothes, Forget-me-not, The Blue Sea of Hallyeosudo.


The Saryangdo Forest Trail signboard and poetry boards were evenly installed along a 0.42 km section from Saryang Bridge to the observatory.


Since last year, BNK Gyeongnam Bank has been directly managing the Saryangdo Forest Trail signboard and poetry board project by conducting site surveys, meetings with staff and installation companies, and inspections before and after installation.


Lee Il-hwan, Executive Director of the Western Sales Headquarters, said, “Saryangdo is an island where you can enjoy both mountains and the sea, attracting tourists throughout all four seasons. The Saryangdo Forest Trail signboard and poetry boards donated by BNK Gyeongnam Bank will add to the enjoyment of tourism. We hope many locals and tourists visit Saryangdo, an island you want to revisit and a vibrant island.”
