Experts from Academia, Research, and Small Business Sectors Gather
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 16th that it held the '1st Overseas Expansion Plus Advisory Committee' to discover agendas for overseas expansion of small and medium enterprises and discuss customized support measures.
This advisory committee was organized to listen to various voices from the field, including experts in international cooperation and export sectors and export entrepreneurs, and to reflect them in support projects amid increasingly difficult management environments for small and medium enterprises due to global complex crises.

At the first meeting held that day, about 15 experts from academia, research, and the SME sector, including An Jung-gon, Head of SBC's Global Growth Headquarters, and Lee Dae-jung, Professor at Busan National University Graduate School of International Studies, attended. The advisory committee members shared the industrial and economic status of India, the Middle East, and Europe, and discussed directions for international cooperation considering the situation of each country and efficient policy support measures.
An Jung-gon, Head of SBC's Global Growth Headquarters, said, "In these difficult times due to the prolonged global complex crisis, domestic and international cooperation and communication are more important than ever to expand the overseas advancement of small and medium enterprises," adding, "With the launch of this advisory committee, where experts from various fields have gathered, we will seek effective policy support measures for small and venture businesses."
