The total project cost is 1.97 billion KRW. It supports 30% of the cost for nine types of agricultural machinery needed for paddy farming, such as tractors, combines, and agricultural drones, and 50% for nine types of agricultural machinery for other crops, such as riding cultivators and riding weeders.

In addition, customized small agricultural machinery for elderly farmers and women farmers will receive a 60% subsidy.

The support targets are farmers who have their address in Jeongeup City and are registered as agricultural business entities.

The city plans to complete the project before the full-scale farming season begins and will select beneficiaries considering their agricultural machinery utilization ability, farming scale, and subsidy history.

Farmers wishing to apply can submit an application form to the eup/myeon office or the dong community center.

For more details, contact the Agricultural and Fisheries Distribution Division of the Jeongeup Agricultural Technology Center.

A city official said, “We hope that the support for agricultural machinery will greatly help alleviate the labor shortage,” and added, “We plan to continue the project by reflecting farmers’ demands to expand the types of machinery supported and the range of beneficiaries to provide practical assistance.”
