Seoul Shilla Hotel announced on the 16th that it has been selected as a 5-star hotel for five consecutive years, the first and only domestic hotel to receive this recognition from the "Forbes Travel Guide," known as the "Michelin Guide of hotels."
Seoul Shilla Hotel was chosen as a 5-star hotel after receiving high scores from the Forbes Travel Guide evaluation team for its excellent facilities as a "premium lifestyle hotel," top-notch service, and high-quality food and beverage (F&B) services.
Among the facilities highly praised by Forbes Travel Guide this year is Seoul Shilla Hotel's outdoor heated pool, "Urban Island." Urban Island is an outdoor swimming pool with the concept of an "island of rest in the city," offering an outdoor lifestyle including heated pools, jacuzzis, rooftop, and cabanas, making it popular as the first luxury hotel in Seoul to provide such amenities. It offers views of Namsan that change with the seasons and provides unique urban activities such as floating yoga and moonlight cinema, making it beloved by guests.
Urban Island features warm water temperatures of 32 to 34℃ and a near-infrared heating system, allowing guests to comfortably enjoy outdoor swimming even in early spring. It has also been the fastest to open and the latest to operate among luxury hotels in Seoul every year. This year, it is scheduled to open on the 11th of next month.
