Park Woo-ryang, Shinan County Governor, Joins Hometown Love Donation Relay Challenge

Sister Cities Ulleung-gun and Cheorwon-gun Also Donate to Nearby Muan-gun

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] On the 15th, Jeonnam Sinan-gun announced that County Governor Park Woo-ryang participated in the Hometown Love Donation Relay Challenge on the 14th to successfully establish the Hometown Love Donation System and promote a culture of donation.

This Hometown Love Donation Support Challenge was carried out by Sinan-gun following the support challenge from Muan-gun, and they nominated Gyeongbuk Ulleung-gun and Gangwon Cheorwon-gun as the next participants, encouraging them to join the relay.

Sinan-gun delivered hometown love donation funds to its sister cities Gyeongbuk Ulleung-gun, Gangwon Cheorwon-gun, and the neighboring city Jeonnam Muan-gun, supporting mutual win-win development among local governments.

Governor Park Woo-ryang said, “I hope this relay support challenge will become an opportunity for mutual win-win development between cities and counties,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many people so that the Hometown Love Donation System can be successfully established.”

The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their registered resident address, and donors receive a full tax credit up to 100,000 KRW, with a 16.5% tax credit and 30% gift benefits for amounts exceeding 100,000 KRW.

Sinan-gun’s hometown love donation gifts include accommodation vouchers for the Natural Recreation Center purchasable with Sinan1004 Mall points, blackhead skate from Heuksan, solar salt, salted shrimp, gopchang seaweed, semi-dried rockfish, and more.
