[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 15th that it was selected as the best institution for two consecutive years in the 2022 Jeollabuk-do "Making Jeonbuk a Good Place for Business" evaluation.

Jeonbuk Province has been conducting the "Good Business Environment in Jeonbuk Promotion Performance Evaluation" annually since 2016 targeting 14 cities and counties, aiming to improve corporate support policies, seek development plans, and share and spread excellent cases of resolving corporate difficulties to create a business-friendly environment that companies can feel.

The detailed evaluation targets were divided into Group A (7 cities and Wanju-gun) with a population of over 70,000 and Group B (7 counties) with a population under 70,000, evaluating 17 items of Jeollabuk-do evaluation indicators.

The county received uniformly high scores on the 17 evaluation items of Jeollabuk-do and ranked first in Group B, which consists of 7 counties.

In particular, it actively worked to prioritize purchasing small and medium-sized enterprise products to increase corporate sales, and recorded the highest scores in terms of the interest of the head of the institution, including the passion and efforts of County Governor Shim Min.

It also received high evaluations for listening to corporate difficulties through quarterly meetings at local agricultural and industrial complexes and making multifaceted efforts to resolve them.

Additionally, it earned high marks for preparing and implementing support measures such as interest subsidy support to promote management stability through expanded emergency fund support for SMEs, environmental improvement projects, logistics cost support projects, and maintenance of agricultural and industrial complex environments.

The county is currently actively attracting companies centered on Osu 2nd Agricultural and Industrial Complex, the site of an excellent case that won the "Best" award at the 2022 Active Administration Best Practice Competition jointly held by the Ministry of Personnel Management, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Office for Government Policy Coordination.

Last year, it signed a sales contract (MOU) with Nutracore Co., Ltd., the first company, and signed a move-in contract last month, preparing for factory construction.

This month, six companies including a metal structure manufacturer submitted sales contracts and are about to sign MOUs.

The county expects that corporate attraction activities will greatly contribute to job creation and revitalization of the local economy.

Governor Shim Min said, "We will take the lead in creating a business-friendly environment by strengthening communication with companies and solving corporate difficulties through active field administration," and added, "We ask for much interest in the sale of Osu 2nd Agricultural and Industrial Complex, scheduled to be completed in the first half of this year."
