150 Million Won Worth of Cotton Tents (70 Units) and Fundraising

According to the Democratic Party Gwangju City Party on the 15th, with the support of the tent manufacturer ‘Aneuk (ANUK)’, they decided to send 70 cotton tents worth about 150 million won to T?rkiye.

Chairman Lee Byung-hoon of the Gwangju City Party judged that support for residential facilities in the earthquake-affected areas is the most urgent, and it is known that he decided to receive 70 tents from CEO Ahn Hyung-joon of the tent manufacturer ‘Aneuk’.
They plan to send the tents to the affected areas in the fastest possible way.
In addition, they will conduct a fundraising campaign for earthquake damage support targeting party members belonging to the Gwangju City Party for one week until the 21st, and the collected funds will be delivered to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
The fundraising is conducted according to official donation procedures, and donation receipts can be issued, allowing benefits such as income deduction and tax credit according to regulations.

Chairman Lee said, “We express our condolences to the people of T?rkiye and Syria who suffered great damage from the strong earthquake that occurred on the 6th,” and added, “We found and implemented a way to provide practical help in a situation where survivors’ safety is threatened by the cold wave and harsh environment that followed the earthquake.”
He continued, “I hope that the hearts of Gwangju citizens reach the people of T?rkiye and Syria, sharing their pain and talking about hope,” and “I ask for active participation in the fundraising for earthquake damage support.”
