Gwangju Nambu Fire Station Conducts Fire Safety Consulting for Nursing Hospitals

Nursing hospitals, due to their nature, have many patients such as the elderly who find it difficult to evacuate on their own, making evacuation difficult in the event of a disaster and increasing the risk of large-scale casualties.

Accordingly, the Nambu Fire Station visited Namgu Nursing Hospital, City Rehabilitation Medicine Nursing Hospital, and others to hold sessions sharing ▲ customized safety consulting considering the characteristics of nursing hospitals ▲ fire prevention education through recent fire cases ▲ collection of opinions and listening to difficulties for creating a safe environment.

Kim Haeng-mo, Director of the Prevention and Safety Division, said, “Nursing hospitals are the most concerning places for casualties in case of fire,” and added, “We ask all related personnel to thoroughly manage voluntary safety on a regular basis, understand that fire prevention is most important, and strictly follow prevention rules.”
