[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Public Medical Headquarters of Seoul Seonam Hospital officially opened the 'Seonam Donghaeng' website, the first standalone website for the Public Medical Headquarters among the 42 regional responsibility medical institutions designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, on the 15th.
On the 'Seonam Donghaeng' website, information is provided for stakeholders in the Seonam area health and medical cooperation network and public medical service users about support projects for medically vulnerable groups promoted by the Public Medical Headquarters of Seonam Hospital, activities of consultative bodies aimed at resolving regional disparities in essential health care services, and education application information to strengthen the capabilities of field health care workers.
The Seonam Donghaeng website was developed over a total of 68 days from November 25 of last year to January 31 of this year and officially opened on the 15th. Internally, it is expected to establish itself as a communication channel to strengthen the role as a regional responsibility medical institution and to expand the public medical network in the Seonam area.
Jang Seonghee, Director of Seoul Seonam Hospital, said, “We are pleased that the first standalone website for the Public Medical Headquarters has been established among domestic regional responsibility medical institutions.” He added, “Through the Seonam Donghaeng website, we will transcend the boundaries between online and offline and fulfill our mission as the regional responsibility medical institution of Seoul’s Seonam area so that all citizens can equally enjoy high-quality medical services.”
