[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Silla University has signed a business agreement to establish an industry-academia cooperative system with Green Doctors and On Hospital Group for training professionals in the fields of health care, social welfare, and social contribution, as well as building systems for human, material, and information exchange.
The agreement was held on the 13th at 2 p.m. in the conference room on the 9th floor of On Hospital, with key figures from the three organizations attending, including President Heo Nam-sik of Silla University, Chairman Jeong Geun of Green Doctors, and Director Kim Dong-heon of On Hospital.
On this day, the three organizations agreed to cooperate on ▲ information exchange related to health care, social welfare, and social contribution ▲ support for education and training, operation of volunteer programs for talent development ▲ support for medical projects targeting foreign students and other foreigners, cooperation related to volunteer activities ▲ establishment of an organic cooperation system for community and domestic and international contributions ▲ provision of medical information for Silla University staff and their families.

President Heo Nam-sik of Silla University said, “Through this agreement, we expect to enhance the field experience of students in health and welfare-related fields within the university and support medical services for foreign students, enabling them to have a healthy academic life.”
Chairman Jeong Geun of Green Doctors said, “With Silla University’s support for social contribution activities such as volunteering and interpretation, it will be possible to provide practical medical services to foreigners who are a blind spot in domestic medical coverage,” adding, “We will also be able to contribute jointly to overseas social contribution activities such as medical volunteering, whose importance is growing.”
