The insurance coverage limit is up to 20 million KRW, and the period is from February 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024.
All residents registered and residing in Gurye-gun (including registered foreigners) are automatically enrolled in the insurance without separate subscription procedures or premium payments. This coverage can be compensated in addition to other personal insurance policies.
Especially this year, the number of coverage items has increased by four compared to last year, expanding to 15 items.
The main coverage items of the residents' safety insurance include ▲death from natural disasters ▲death or permanent disability from explosion, fire, collapse, or landslide ▲death or permanent disability from public transportation accidents ▲death or permanent disability from robbery ▲death by drowning accidents ▲death or permanent disability from agricultural machinery accidents ▲treatment expenses for injuries from school zone traffic accidents ▲treatment expenses for injuries from silver zone traffic accidents ▲emergency room treatment expenses for dog bite accidents ▲consolation money for death from acute infectious diseases ▲death from social disasters.
Insurance claims can be made by the affected resident or legal heir by submitting a claim form and related documents to NH Nonghyup Property & Casualty Insurance.
The claim expiration period is three years from the date of the accident.
