Clonet Corporation announced on the 14th that it will support domestic fashion brands as a leading K-fashion channel aiming to enter the Chinese market by opening a store on Douyin (China's TikTok), a global short-form platform mini store.
Clonet Corporation has already successfully entered the Chinese market by officially opening stores on China's leading e-commerce platforms Taobao and WeChat Mini Programs. By formalizing its Chinese subsidiary, Clonet Corporation plans to actively promote and market fashion brand products in the Chinese market, supporting short-form content production such as collaboration videos with Xiaohongshu, and actively informing Chinese consumers about the brand philosophy and product excellence of domestic fashion brands.
Clonet Corporation is conducting special events for new brands entering the Douyin store. Until February 28, all brands wishing to enter Clonet will be offered the benefit of free entry.
Chah Joo-hwan, CEO of Clonet Corporation, said, "The entry into the Chinese market is proceeding smoothly as planned, and we are looking forward to the response from Chinese consumers. We will also support the production of short-form videos to provide content that can attract Chinese consumers."
He also expressed his ambition, saying, "Along with expanding into overseas markets, we will actively promote domestic fashion brands both domestically and internationally through Clonet Studio."
