According to the Seogwipo Fire Station on the 14th, this training was prepared to enable prompt emergency treatment in case of cardiac arrest patients due to drowning accidents during club activities or nearby incidents.
After watching a video on safety accidents, the course proceeded with hands-on practice of CPR and AED usage to secure the golden time for cardiac arrest patients.
Chief Park Gwangchan said, "Bystander CPR is an important emergency treatment that increases the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients," adding, "We will strive to promote and educate so that all residents can properly learn CPR."
Meanwhile, organizations in need of CPR and emergency treatment training can contact the Seogwipo Fire Station Rescue and Emergency Medical Team.
