Bus Route Changes in Goyang Samsong and Jichuk Districts

Bus Service Passing Through Ogeum-dong, Jichuk LH Complex 8, and 56th Division

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that it plans to adjust the public transportation village bus routes in Ogeum-dong and Jichuk District within February.

The city plans to reduce the number of existing village buses 093 and 076, and have six 077A village buses pass through Ogeum-dong to encourage faster transfers to Jichuk Station.

Additionally, for residents of LH Complex 8 on the outskirts of Jichuk District and soldiers of the 56th Division, the 077B village bus will be routed through LH Complex 8 and the 56th Division.

Meanwhile, with the increase of 077A village buses, village buses 033 will be deployed to Shinwon Village Complexes 9 and 10, where the operation of village buses 093 and 076 will be discontinued.

A city official stated, "We expect that this route adjustment will make public transportation use much easier for residents of Ogeum-dong and Jichuk-dong."
