[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters has provided graduation scholarships to schools located in the surrounding area.
The Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters selected 46 students with excellent academic performance and good conduct among graduates of 10 elementary, middle, and high schools located in Jangan and Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, near the power plant, and awarded a total of 18.6 million KRW in scholarships.
Lee Kwang-hoon, head of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We congratulate the students on their graduation and new beginnings, and hope this support will help nurture the dreams of local students. We will continue to provide various support to foster local talent.”
In addition to this support, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters is committed to nurturing local talent by implementing various support projects such as scholarships for university students, native English instructor support, and after-school education programs.
