KTTA AWARDS 2022
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon National University Table Tennis Team, which has participated in the National Sports Festival eight times in the past 10 years and achieved five team championships, was recognized for its excellence at the ‘KTTA AWARDS 2022’.
The university announced on the 13th that the table tennis team received both the Excellent Organization Award and the Excellent Coach Award from the Korea Table Tennis Association.

According to the university, in 2022, the team achieved team championships at the National Sports Festival, the University Table Tennis Federation Tournament, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cup, as well as individual singles and doubles victories in various competitions. They also won the 103rd National Sports Festival, secured back-to-back championships at the National Sports Festival, and achieved consecutive wins at the Korea University Table Tennis Federation Tournament.
Coach Oh Yoon-kyung said, “I am pleased to receive such a prestigious award,” adding, “Above all, I am proud of our players who overcame many difficulties and limitations to show remarkable achievements.”
He continued, “I applaud the effort and fighting spirit shown by the players, and this challenge will continue this year as well,” and added, “I express my gratitude to the university for its generous support.”
