Haevichi Hotel & Resort, which launched its first standalone restaurant in Jongno, Seoul in 2018, announced on the 13th that it has simultaneously opened three restaurants in Myeongdong, one of Seoul's representative tourist destinations.

The restaurants are located on the site of the former KT Seoul Central Telephone Office near the Chinese Embassy in Korea, in the heart of Myeongdong. It is a 15-story mixed-use building where Le Meridien & Moxy Seoul Myeongdong opened and has been operating since December last year. Haevichi operates three restaurants on the 3rd floor of this building: New American dining "Michael by Haevichi," Chinese restaurant "Jungsim," and Japanese restaurant "Sushimer." These restaurants, which have been successfully opened one after another since 2018 in the Centropolis Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, share the same headquarters, operational philosophy, and concept, but considering their location in a building like a luxury hotel, they offer more delicate and upscale menus and services.

"Michael by Haevichi," Haevichi's first restaurant outside the hotel, opened its second branch in Busan in 2021 and now has its third location. Although somewhat unfamiliar domestically, it presents "New American Cuisine," a global gourmet trend, reinterpreting dishes from various cultures such as Europe, South America, and Asia in an American style without formal constraints. New menu items have also been added. There are ? la carte and course menus including grilled shrimp with romesco sauce, Iberico Bellota bone-in sirloin steak, lamb chops with black garlic pur?e and buckwheat crust, and fettuccine pasta with white truffle ragu sauce.

Jungsim differentiates itself by strengthening its "authentic Cantonese" menu within the concept of Chinese cuisine favored by Koreans. Using fresh ingredients such as live fish and seasonal seafood, it expands its high-end Chinese menu based on Cantonese cuisine. Premium dishes like Cantonese barbecue, steamed live lobster, and Peking duck can be enjoyed without prior reservation. Additionally, there are special dishes such as appetizers and main courses made with chef-made tofu and homemade noodles, as well as Bangbang chicken and dim sum.

Sushimer, which opened in July 2021, has attracted attention from the start by offering sushi omakase at a luxury hotel level, rare in the northern Seoul area. The Myeongdong branch is characterized by transferring most of the interior and service from the original Sushimer so that more customers can experience its taste and service. Based on the finest ingredients sourced daily from production areas, it focuses on fundamentals to deliver authentic Japanese sushi that preserves the original taste, texture, and flavor.

Meanwhile, Haevichi also manages the Le Meridien & Moxy Seoul Myeongdong hotel located in the same building, expecting mutual synergy between hotel and restaurant operations.
