In addition to supporting scholarships for underprivileged youths to nurture local talent, the Yeongyang-gun Women's Association has been serving and contributing to the local community through projects such as delivering side dishes of love, supporting birthday celebrations for elderly living alone, and sharing kimchi from kimjang.

Chairperson Choi Gyesuk said, “Like the African proverb that it takes a whole village to raise a child, the Women's Association will be a strong support with affection and care so that the youths, who are the hope of the region, can grow well, even if it is a small help.”

Yeongyang-gun Mayor Oh Dochang added words of encouragement, saying, “I hope the local youths will not give up and continue to strive for their dreams, blooming infinite possibilities,” and expressed gratitude to the Yeongyang-gun Women's Association for practicing warm sharing and volunteering for the local community.
