"Cheon Ha-ram Insults Park Chung-hee and Glorifies Kim Dae-jung"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Hwang Kyo-ahn, former leader of the United Future Party and a candidate in the People Power Party presidential election, interpreted candidate Kim Ki-hyun's mention of 'presidential impeachment' as meaning "Ahn Cheol-soo's values are unclear."
On the 13th, on KBS's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strong Current Affairs,' candidate Hwang said, "Hasn't it been a short time since Ahn joined our party? Until now, he was with the Democratic Party and created several parties, but every party he created collapsed. This is a major criticism of those aspects."

Earlier, candidate Kim said that if someone with presidential ambitions becomes the party leader, there is concern about impeachment due to conflicts between current and future powers, which led to demands for an apology from Ahn's side.
In response to the host's question about whether the People Power Party is 'right-turning' while only looking at President Yoon Seok-youl, Hwang said, "Isn't the president elected by the people? Then, during the president's term, we should proceed centered on the president," adding, "If within our party the standard becomes self-centered when there are various controversies, thinking about winning and one's own future, it will be very difficult to create a one-team Korea," indirectly criticizing candidate Ahn.
Regarding concerns about President Yoon's interference in the party election, Hwang said, "I am well aware of such concerns. However, fundamentally, the president is the overall person responsible for state affairs. Not just responsible for one area, but the overall responsibility for state affairs, so he can express opinions as much as he wants," adding, "I hope the way these expressions are made does not cause misunderstandings among the people."
About 'Lee Jun-seok faction' candidate Cheon Ha-ram, Hwang said negatively, "What is this 'CheonjjikXX'? Is that considered a card (news)? It circulates around," adding, "How can such a person become our party's leader?" 'CheonjjikXX' is an abbreviation of 'You must vote for Cheon Ha-ram to protect free political speech,' which was embroiled in controversy over sexual slander.
Candidate Hwang pointed out, "(Candidate Cheon) previously disparaged President Park Chung-hee, glorified former President Kim Dae-jung, and disparaged President Park Chung-hee. He made such remarks openly. His values differ from ours."
