"T'way Air Launches 'Crew Class' for Cabin Crew Experience"

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] T'way Air announced on the 13th that it will hold a cabin crew experience event called 'Crew Class' for global customers.

On the 8th, they held this event for 23 students from Taiwan's Vanung University of Science and Technology (萬能科技大學) at the Aviation Training Center located at the headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The participating students visited T'way Air during a short winter training program at Bucheon University, which has a sisterhood relationship with Vanung University.

The Crew Class was conducted in Chinese, and the students experienced training related to safety and service that cabin crew members actually perform, including a tour of the Aviation Training Center, in-flight service practice, a special lecture on safety and security, emergency evacuation drills, and fire suppression training.

T'way Air has been conducting the cabin crew job experience event 'Crew Class' for students majoring in aviation-related fields and external participants since November 2020. So far, through a total of 108 Crew Classes, 3,417 people have been given the opportunity to participate.

This is the first time the Crew Class has been held for overseas participants. Since many cabin crew members are proficient in a second foreign language and the company is planning to diversify the program, T'way Air plans to actively expand the opportunity to experience excellent facilities and programs to a global audience.

A T'way Air official said, "We will take the lead in raising safety awareness by expanding opportunities for external experiences, including Crew Class," and added, "We will continue various activities utilizing the resources that T'way Air possesses."
