[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] At around 9:21 PM on the 10th, a fire broke out in a detached house in Gonyang-myeon, Sacheon-si, Gyeongnam, resulting in the death of a man in his 60s.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 11th, a nearby resident reported the fire after seeing flames rising from the house.
A total of 19 vehicles, including fire trucks and ambulances, were dispatched, with 47 personnel responding, including 36 firefighters and 6 police officers.
The firefighters extinguished the major flames around 9:50 PM that night, and about six minutes later, they found the homeowner, Mr. A, deceased in the master bedroom.
The fire was completely extinguished by 12:05 AM on the 11th, but one house was completely burned down and vehicles were destroyed due to the fire.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the precise extent of property damage.
