Seocho District Council Donates 5 Million Won to Help Needy Neighbors

Chairman Oh Se-cheol and others saved council operation expenses to prepare the fund

Will continue efforts to spread the culture of sharing

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seocho-gu Council (Chairman Oh Se-cheol) participated in practicing the culture of sharing by delivering donations to help underprivileged neighbors to the Community Chest of Korea on the 10th.

The donation ceremony was held in the council reception room with the attendance of Chairman Oh Se-cheol, the council leadership, the Director of the Resident Life Bureau, and the Head of the Welfare Policy Division.

The donation of 5 million won, prepared by reducing business promotion expenses and council operation costs, will be delivered to vulnerable groups and underprivileged neighbors in the region through the Community Chest of Korea.

Additionally, the donation details will be listed on the ‘Wall of Donation’ installed on the 2nd floor of Seocho-gu Office.

Chairman Oh Se-cheol stated, “I hope this donation will provide some help to neighbors in difficult situations,” and added, “I hope the culture of sharing will continue to spread widely within the local community.”
