Ulsan Gangbuk and Gangnam Gifted Education Centers Hold Completion Ceremony

Gangbuk 119, Gangnam 124 Complete 2-Year Program

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Ulsan Gangbuk Education Support Office and Gangnam Education Support Office Gifted Education Centers held the 17th graduation ceremony on the 11th at the Ulsan Science Museum Big Bang Hall.


The event was attended by graduates, parents, gifted education instructors, and guests, and proceeded in the order of screening a video of the gifted education center's educational activities, academic report, awarding of certificates and commendations, encouragement speech by the education director, and greetings from instructors and parents.

On that day, 119 graduates from Gangbuk and 124 from Gangnam completed a two-year gifted education program in four areas for 5th and 6th graders: mathematics, science, invention, and information, and three areas for 1st and 2nd year middle school students: mathematics, science, and invention. 104 exemplary students also received commendations from the education director.


The Gangbuk and Gangnam Gifted Education Centers operate various inquiry activities and student-centered experiential programs such as subject-specific classes, open classes for parents, output presentations, humanities special lectures, leadership camps, and special lectures for parents to nurture creative talents with sound character who will lead future society.


The education directors of Gangbuk and Gangnam Education Support Offices said, “We are grateful to the students who participated in learning with sincerity and perseverance for two years despite the COVID-19 situation, the parents who supported and encouraged them without lack, and the instructors who taught with passion,” and added, “We hope that the students will grow into creative convergence talents with warm character and competence.”
