The inspection and guidance target activities include the obligation of owners and employees to verify age (checking ID cards, etc.), displaying restrictions on entry to establishments prohibiting youth access, and whether there are private rooms or partitions.

According to the announcement on establishments prohibiting youth entry and employment, if private rooms, partitions, beds, or convertible chairs and sofas are installed, youth entry and employment are prohibited.

Jeju Police plan to conduct patrol activities focusing on unmanned stores, academy districts, parks, and other major youth activity areas.

A Jeju Police official said, “If at-risk youth are discovered, we will actively connect them to police guidance programs or local support organizations to strengthen youth guidance and protection activities,” adding, “We will continue school violence prevention activities together with related organizations.”
