[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 10th that it will recruit 22 participants for the 'First Half Public Work Project' from the 13th to the 17th.
The county provides temporary jobs to socially vulnerable groups to protect their livelihoods, encourage work motivation, and offer opportunities for reemployment.
Eligibility requires applicants to be at least 18 years old, have a household income at or below 70% of the median income standard, and possess assets under 400 million KRW.
However, recipients under the National Basic Livelihood Security Act, households with two participants, spouses and children of public officials, and those who have participated more than twice in other financial support projects within the last three years are excluded from participation.
The recruitment is for 22 people across six projects, including managing books at Hongnong Small Library, maintaining tourist facility equipment and public restrooms, creating flower paths, and cleaning tourist environments.
Applications must be submitted to the local eup/myeon office by the 17th with an application form, a copy of an ID card, and consent for providing financial transaction information.
Meanwhile, last year, 37 people were employed in financial jobs through the public work project, creating jobs for vulnerable groups.
