Recently, as Slam Dunk has taken over the theaters, the distribution industry is also experiencing a brief surge in demand.

According to Gmarket and Auction on the 11th, sales of Slam Dunk comics increased by 7,530% from last year during the period from the 4th of last month, right after the movie Slam Dunk was released, to the 5th of this month.

Auction is holding the online comic festival "2023 Comic Show" until the 12th. This event features major domestic comic publishers such as Daewon C.I., Seoul Cultural Publishers, Haksan Publishing, and D&C Media, selling 130 popular comic books across various genres, from comics to webtoons.

Representative comics include Daewon C.I.'s ▲Slam Dunk New Edition ▲One Piece ▲The Ruler of the Land ▲Black Clover; Haksan Publishing's ▲Demon Slayer Box Set ▲Chainsaw Man ▲Spy x Family ▲Tokyo Revengers; and Seoul Cultural Publishers' ▲Complete Edition Dragon Ball Set ▲Detective Conan SDB, among others.

Comic Show exclusive credit card discount coupons are provided, and some products offer Smile Cash rewards upon purchase. Webtoons and single volumes also have instant discount benefits with credit cards. Additionally, there is an event where customers who purchase Daewon C.I. publisher sets at the Comic Show will receive a Weathering with You desk mat on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seven Eleven is taking pre-orders for 2,000 sets of the complete Slam Dunk comic series. The product offered this time is the 20-volume New Edition set. The selling price is 126,450 KRW, which is at the lowest internet price level.

Out of the 2,000 sets, Seven Eleven will conduct 1,800 sets as delivery pre-orders. Customers can visit nearby Seven Eleven stores nationwide to make reservations until the end of this month, and deliveries will begin sequentially from the 6th of next month. The remaining 200 sets will be sold offline starting from the 16th of this month at four major stores in the Seoul area.
