LS Owner's Third Generation, Koo Dong-hwi, Appointed as LS Electric Vice President and Inside Director

Operation of Three-Person Representative System

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chae-seok] Koo Dong-hwi, Vice President of Vision Management at LS ELECTRIC and third-generation owner of LS, has been nominated as an inside director of the company.

LS ELECTRIC recently held a board meeting and resolved to propose the appointment of Vice President Koo as a new inside director at the upcoming regular shareholders' meeting next month.

If the agenda passes at the shareholders' meeting, Vice President Koo is expected to be appointed as CEO.

The leadership structure will change to a three-person individual representative system, including Koo Ja-kyun, Chairman of LS ELECTRIC, Kim Dong-hyun, Vice President in charge of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Vice President Koo.

Vice President Koo is the eldest son of Koo Ja-yeol, Chairman of the LS Group Board of Directors. He was born in 1982. He was promoted to Vice President in the personnel reshuffle last November. After his promotion, he moved from E1 to LS ELECTRIC.
