[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan City District and County Career Education Support Center Council held the 'The Synergy - Busan Area Career Education Support Center Job Training' for two days from the 8th to the 9th at the Future Hall of Pukyong National University.
This training was held to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic and establish new goals and visions for 2023, with a total of 64 officials from 16 career education support centers in Busan attending.

The event began with a greeting from Chairman Jeong Young-min and a congratulatory speech from Lee Sang-yul, Director of the Busan Academic Development Institute, followed by center introductions, operation performance reports, and a roundtable discussion for the 2030 Busan EXPO linkage project. Afterwards, participants exchanged information and spent time collectively contemplating the future of career education in Busan.
During the roundtable discussion of this training, opinions were gathered to establish strategies and visions for future Busan career education and to work together with educational stakeholders such as the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan City Hall, local governments, schools, and parents to prioritize and set common goals for Busan career education.
In particular, they agreed to provide extensive support and cooperation to nurture the dreams and talents of youth and help them set visions to become key figures of the Busan 2030 EXPO, and they flew paper airplanes carrying messages of encouragement for the future of career education, youth, and Busan.
Jeong Young-min, Chairman of the Busan Career Education Support Center Council, said, “Through this training, we will strengthen the capabilities of career education support centers, promote solidarity and cooperation among centers, and further make Busan a leading city for career education in South Korea.”
